ok...im not exactly very at these things first time round...
but ill just start by saying hi my name is andrea and i am an art student studying at university doing a ba honours degree in fine art. i am in the third year and i am also about to start organising my degree show. its a part of my unit and the submission date is in may.i can be quite shy,quiet and i also think i am quite studious.


i also hope to fulfill my dreams in becoming an artist. all comments are appreciated. i dont mind critism even if the work is not very well liked either. however, i may take some suggestions on board.

i am keen on various kinds of art and movements. I have created drawings, screen prints,etchings on a plate, paintings ( mainly by using oil and acrylics ), sculpture, photography ( i do appreciate it in colour but prefer black and white),and computer art( by using photoshop and illustrator)

oneday i would love to continue learning the piano again when i have more money. i started playing the violin at a young age and reached grade 6. its the same with the piano. at the time, i also began doing my theory in music. i wish i didnt stop but atleast carried on until the last grade( which is no.8). i used to compose and play in concerts.

my interests include frida kahlo, salvador dali, jenny saville, robert rauschenburg, da vinci, sue townsend,blogging, the twentieth century art book, beetlejuice, silence of the lambs, simpsons, fado (melancholic portuguese folk music), portugal, animals, documentaries, discovery,foreign food,wine,bacardi, the green mile, the pirates of the caribbean, frida ( the film ), searching the internet, restaurants ( when i have money), tea, culture, history,classical, faure, saints seans, bach, vanessa mae, t rex, dulce pontes, holst, rock, electro, cesario evora, cabo verde, depeche mode etc
